• Hot-rolled head and tail ends: The head and tail sections produced during hot rolling, which are large in size and can usually be directly remelted or mechanically processed for reuse.
• Rolling waste: Waste generated during the rolling process due to size or surface problems, accounting for 30%-40% of the total scrap.
• Cold-rolled edge trim: Edge trim generated during cold rolling of plates and strips, which is large in size and can be directly recycled.
• Defective plates: Plates that are defective due to surface or performance issues, a type of block scrap.
Chip Scrap
• Milling chips: Metal chips generated during machining, which have a large surface area and are easily oxidized, making them more difficult to process.
• Peeling chips: Metal chips generated during surface treatment, often mixed with cutting fluid, requiring purification treatment.

Grade 11 titanium (Ti-6.5Al-3.5Mo-1.5Zr-0.3Si) scraps mainly come from the aerospace, chemical, marine engineering, and medical equipment industries, specifically from the following areas:

• Engine components: Key parts such as high-pressure compressor discs and blades generate scrap during manufacturing or repair.
• Airframe structures: For example, tailpipe heat shields also produce scrap during processing.

What Is the Recycling Price of Grade 11 Titanium Scraps?
There is currently no publicly available real-time data on the recycling price of Grade 11 titanium scraps, but we can estimate it based on the market price of similar titanium alloys. According to market conditions, the recycling price of titanium alloy scraps (such as TC4) is usually between 150-220 RMB/kg, while industrial-grade pure titanium scraps are between 80-120 RMB/kg.
